Nicola Putignano, born in Noci (Ba) on 6th May 1950

1972: Degree in Law from the University of Bari. Graduation thesis supervised by Prof. Gino Giugni.
1973-1974: Advanced course in Social Labour Law taught by Prof. Gino Giugni.
1975: Became solicitor
1981: Became lawyer
1989: Counsel for Defense in the Italian Supreme Court
1973: He started an intense professional activity focusing on Labour Law and Social Welfare in collaboration with OO.SS. Confederali (1973-75: CGIL and Welfare agency INCA of Bari and Foggia, with UIL and ITAL Welfare agency of Bari and Region of Apulia; member of the ConsultaNazionale dei Legali (National Council of Laywers) as well as consultant of CONFSAL Local authorities and transportation of Bari, SAPPE (Independent Trade Union of Prison Officials) nationwide as well as throughout the region. Consultant of Assomoda, Sales representative and Business agent, as well as firms and industrial groups (Lega Cooperativa, CONAD, Gruppo Putignano in Noci, R.R. Puglia – Hospital and school catering and other companies working in the sector of industrial laundry, security and large scale retail commercial agencies). He is currently a legal consultant for South Adriatic ITF (Internation Travel Federation) and for the national FIT-CISL for Maritime Labour. He contributed to the creation of the Studio Consulenti di Direzione P e D s.r.l. in Bari and he went on to work as a consultant. He was a member of GEIE of Studi Legali Europei “Omni Juris” located in Paris (France). He is also a member of the Labour Law Commission of UIA (International Association of Lawyers).
